Every year we have a raised bed vegetable garden in our backyard. A few years ago, my husband built a three compartment compost bin to use for our garden. I would place peelings, vegetable, fruit scrapes, egg shells and coffee grounds in an empty plastic coffee container. After awhile, I had two and they were usually over flowing and sometimes smelly. It was a lot of effort to go to the compost pile every time we peeled something or had something to put in.
Besides, the coffee container was rather ugly sitting on our counter top. So I started looking for something to replace the two plastic coffee containers. I found a wonderful product which does the job plus is decorative! It is a metal container and has a lid with filters. There is NO odor or mess!
