Rainbow God: The Seven Colors of Love, by Johnny and Elizabeth Enlow, chapter nine is about God of Arts and the Entertainment and this color of His rainbow is Glory and is a depiction of CREATOR. When we think of the arts and entertainment we think of those moments when we have stopped in our tracks to take in that which has caught our attention, left us breathless or awestruck by the mere genius of imagination beyond reach. This is an expression of our magnificent God who has made all heaven and earth and is calling us to go deeper into His well of love for us and asking us to join Him in intimacy, play and co-laboring to bring forth those things He has deep within which have never been seen or heard of previously.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.

There is a wooing for His children to come to Him and walk fully with Him in the place he has always wanted as a Child of the most high King, but even more than that, beside Him as the bride of Christ where you walk in the fullness of who you were always meant to be in the identity He formed in us before we were born.
"For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well.

The human heart desires to love and be loved. Who put that in our hearts?
God desires the same with us. He is not a distant being ambivalent toward us. He is wanting relationship with His most beloved treasures.
“To fall in love with God is the greatest of all romances; to seek Him, the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.” ~Augustine
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground
Genesis 1:26-28
Glorify God with Your Gifts and Callings
If you notice in verse 28, it says fill the earth and subdue it. Jesus gives a parable in Luke chapter 19 and tells the servants to occupy until he returns. This is a message to us about using the gifts and callings He bestows to us to spread His glory into all the world until His return.
For the purpose of this post I am focusing on the Arts. Anyone walking as a Christian can apply this to their own area of gifts and calling. He will meet you were you are, what He requires is submission, surrender and your YES!
We have a choice, walk in the way of the world and get what the world has to offer or do it God’s way and reap the Kingdom. He gives us liberty to choose because He is a God who does not push, or coerce, bully or manipulate. If you are tired of the way the world and the devil handle how to do life, I would encourage you to seek your father in heaven. He is crazy in love with you and would love to show you more!
I will be sharing more on what He shares with me as we journey together on this blog. If you are not a Christian and have been caught up in New Age or other such practices, I would encourage you to investigate more about God. The other practices out in the world which many are displaying may be enticing, but ARE counterfeits. If you want to chose a counterfeit, that is your choice, but I chose the best, authentic and most precious. I want to walk the narrow path and I don’t want to get to the end of my life and regret that I walked the broad path of destruction. I want to be on the narrow path that leads to life. This is my YES to Him and the calling on my life. Now in saying this, it does not mean it is a path without mistakes and along the way. That is also part of the journey. We all have fallen and had to get back up, but He is standing right there beside us with His hand to help us up and dust us off.

If you are an artist or thinking about being an artist or wanting to start doing some art, JUMP IN! Listen to the still small voice. Find out where it leads you. God will use your yes. It doesn’t matter who your are, what age you are, what nationality or gender. He says yes if you want to join Him to show the world just how beautiful He made you and how much beauty can come from you with Him. Some of you may be cartoonists and can bring others joy and laughter. And the world needs laughter. Some of you may paint and it will bring healing to those who have been hurt. Some may be calligraphers and your messages may bring encouragement or hope to someone who needs it most. The possibilities are endless. Do not under estimate just how important your part can be to someone.

Something to Help You in Your Journey
To help you get started on your journey, I would like to recommend a book by Amy Latta, Practice Makes Progress: My Creative Journal. She is a Christian Artist and hand lettering expert. She just published a book to help encourage artists on their journey to create, confront fears, gain courage and to build skills + a whole lot more. She has a very precious story and I have enjoyed learning from her.
Please know there is power in numbers and unity is the catalyst to move mountains. Everyone is unique and one of a kind and so is your ability to create! We ALL have something unique to offer the world which hasn’t been seen before. Will you take that leap of faith and join God in what he is doing on the Earth? The World Needs Your Art!
